Monday

I took Marty to work today so that I could run to the post office and bank. Doh! The sad thing is that on Friday Alex did an oral report on Columbus, and mentioned that today was Columbus day.

The boys are doing great with school. Alex and Ethan have been doing every subject for a week now, and Christian only has one small thing to add. For some reason it makes them feel better to ease back into school work. Hey... whatever works!

Between Friday and Saturday I spent seven hours at the mechanic. Add to that the two and a half hours I spent there on Monday and I was not a happy camper.

When I think of how many times I went back and forth to Ohio, I am just glad I wasn't stuck on the side of the expressway - again.

It is supposed to be 90º today, 72º tomorrow and 53º by Wednesday. You know you live in Michigan if...

I am taking the boys to lunch today and then we are coming home to finish up school.

The police officer that died in the Chicago Marathon was from Midland. How horrible for his family.
